This month's featured database: Historic Map Works: Do you enjoy researching genealogy? Are you a student studying world or American history? If you are, Historic Map Works is for you. Appropriately named, this website has all types of maps - property atlases, antiquarian maps, and nautical maps – not just for the United States, but for around the world. Yet this site is more than maps; there are all types of text documents, including directories. With over 1,123,000 images, all of this information is free of charge to patrons of the Waterloo Public Library. For more information, call 291-4476.
