Book Club Services
Document Actions
The library offers several book clubs for readers, as well as services for local book clubs. We own many sets of books that are available for check out, and we can request titles for your club if we don't own them!
- Adult Book Club, led by Sheryl Groskurth. This group meets every third Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the meeting rooms of WPL. All are welcome to join. Sheryl chooses the books based on local interest and what national book clubs are reading. Suggestions are welcome! The library will own at least five copies of every book on the reading list for the book club. Registration is not required, simply show up for lively discussion about the selected book. See the 2009 schedule.
- African American Literature Book Club, led by Carolyn Sallis. This book discussion group meets monthly at 7 PM in the library meeting rooms. All are welcome to join. Registration is not required, simply show up to discuss the selected literature.
