Beek's Books

Beek's Books is a collection of comic book reviews, which also includes comix and graphic novels. They are divided by genre, which includes Fantasy, Superhero and Action, Humor, All Ages, Science Fiction, Beyond Genre and Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual. These are his personal views and ratings, and he focuses on the storyline rather than indivual installments of a series. Please note: The site has a Smut category. This does not indicate porn, but some characters do engage in sexual activity. These reviews require an Adult Check ID to access.

No Flying, No Tights

Separate pages offer reviews of graphic novels for teens and adults or kids. Reviews for teens are sorted by genres such as "resistance is futile" (science fiction) and "way back when" (historical fiction), while the kids' genres are straightforward-- Fantasy, Mystery, Humor and so on. The summaries are catchy and the graphics appealing. Most of the titles have been published in the last three years.
